Drapes. Yes or no?
"They remind me of my grandma." "You can't do them over plantation shutters." "They're boring." "Drapes are too formal."
A few years ago, I would have said curtains, gross. Then I evolved to saying, "drapes, those are for the elderly." Now??? "YES!!!!!"
Gone are the days of boring ole' curtains and silver-ringed curtains hanging on a rod (if that's your thing... that's okay, just not mine). You can get drapes in so many fun patterns. There are literally thousands to choose from.
Now, drapes can be quite overwhelming to choose.
Pleats - what kind? Trim - thousands of options. What kind of rod? Ugh!
With a little help and guidance, I promise there is a drape for you. They can transform a room, adding color, depth, and texture. You can have a fun pattern with fun hardware. Have a more serious and classic look. It's really up to you! Here is a sneak peek at some drapes I am working on for a client.
